Default No brake lights or Hazards

97 Blazer...
Currently have no brake lights or hazards either. Third brake light works. Turn signals work. Fuses are good. Kinda at a loss right now. Any tips on what to probe and check would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you haven’t already checked , next thing to check would be bulbs and sockets .

There are a couple of different ways to approach this. The fact that the third brake light works tells us that the brake pedal switch is good. Do you have access to the trailer wiring, if so probe dk green with brakes applied and the meter grounded to the frame.

Ended up being a bad multifunction switch. Good friend of mine probed a bunch of wires. Thanks for the responses. Oh......and George....the dk green wire never had power. Thanks.

[QUOTE=gmbwrenchn;755977] I’m having the same issue kind of, I have brake lights when I pull my hazard relay, but I changed the broken hazard button after a different switch didn’t work, I changed the switch after my hazard button broke out and my hazards lights would not shut off, I didn’t know I could just get the button and so I re installed the old one.
I’ve never had an issue with this but now I lost full function of turn signals and my hazards won’t turn on now and I don’t know what to do

What did your mechanic friend do to figure this out because I am not looking to throw a ton of money at this when I already have to fix the ball joint
