I'm having the exact same issue in my 94. Replaced the starter and battery cables, still nothing, no clicks cranks or turns, just dash chime and fuel pump going, all the lights, dash, radio work too.

I replaced the ignition switch already. I tracked it down to the fact that I wasn't always getting power in or out of the cluster fuse on the interior panel. So I ran a fused jumper onto it. It works perfect. Its a temporary fix until the weather gets nice here in the northeast. I have to trace the wire and see why its not getting power to the tan wire. For now I can drive it and its safe with the fused jumper.

2003 Blazer here exact same problem. What is your vehicle model year? Also what do you mean cluster fuse? Your fuse panel is on the inside?

Or did anyone else with this problem find a solution?

Thanks

Ok I will go over this as i feel i fixed my problem. So one day on the mail route (yes..im a mailman) I turned the key and had all lights on the position 2. But when i turned to the cranking position i had nothing, not even a clicking sound. Just nothing. This was also a intermittent problem. I would go weeks without any trouble and then every time i went to start it i had this problem. I put the shiftier into neutral and was able to start it. So i immediately assumed that i needed a neutral safety switch. So i replaced it and the first time i went to start it i had nothing. SO i wired in a push button switch in an attempt to bypass the ignition switch. This did not work. The blazer would turn over but die immediately. I think this may have to do with some kind of security protection built into the ignition. So i was unable to start the blazer but could turn the motor over with it. SO...the next time i had nothing, i tried the push button and it was also would do nothing. So I felt that i had for sure narrowed it down to the starter. I purchased the lifetime warranty starter from Autozone a week ago and have not had a bit of trouble. In fact, i notice the new starter has noticeably more torque. Hope this helps.
