Default O2 wiring has been spliced; resistance changed

Hello I joined this forum a few months ago and I have searched and read to no avail. I have a 2002 half year, aka no external egr can, 4x4 4door 4.3l. I'm throwing the heater sensor po135/155 or bank 1&2 sensor 1 codes for sometime and I have narrowed it down, but I need help. I checked with my multimeter for ground and power on both o2's and they are fine. I plugged in my hand scanner and ran the live data for 2min with the key turned but vehicle not started and both o2's do not move outside the bias range by the recommended 150mv. They both stay between 430mv and 490mv; Therefore I checked the wiring to the PCM and each of the 2 wires from the o2 sensors has been spliced halfway en route to the computer. I'm pretty sure at this point that has to be the issue with the probable change in resistance, and if it is I don't know if that is a specific wire type in regards to how its shielded and where to buy it or if I should just go to the junkyard and cut it out from the pcm to the exhaust and pull it. Any input/help or ideas would be much appreciated. This forum has got me this far, therefore I thank everyone in advance either way. Jason
