Default odd question...

I have a 99 blazer lt, and it came with the oem foglights...strongly despise them. Is there a way to convert this style to the style that has two directional bulbs? Wiring wise that is. I'm hoping I would have to pull the harness, but just change a wire or two, not replace the whole thing. Thanks for the help in advance.

You can swap in the standard directional signal housing.

Stock, they did not come with two bulbs for the turn signals, only the outer bulb served that purpose. The inner location was just blanked out. You could then extend/rewire the fog lights to aftermarket housings mounted elsewhere or just leave them unplugged if you do not use/want them.

Well the main desire for this change is because i want to have smoked out lenses, and finding a set with foglights that doesn't look chincy on eBay is tough.

I found THESE for another member with stock fogs a while ago and they are still available:

You could then smoke the lenses yourself to get the desired look.

Thanks man, happy new year, and I'm sure there is a post here on how to smoke lenses, but can anybody give me a reader's digest version? Thanks again
