Default OMG!!! We have a fire

lets start this off saying omg.... on thanksgiving wile take my 90yr old gma home my 99 4dr blazer with auto 4wd...the 4wd lights lights started to flicker than smoke pored out of the dash. so got her out and seen it stoped smokeing and lost my 4wd fuel gauge level temp gauge and my park drive indicator. ( spelling errors sorry) got home took dash out replaced 14 wires that got burnt and relized the brown wire was the coulpert. replaced from fuse box (driver side to gang plug pass floor. turned on truck and nonething. i also put a inline fuse at floor by 4wd module cause didnt want a fire again. i keep blowing the 4wd fuse. cleaned 4wd mod. cleaned up gounds. lifted up carpet to find more brown wires tourched. fixed and still nonething. i just want my fuel gauge back. so were im getting to is. anyone have this issue. were is the pinched wire at?? or how do i hard wire an aftermarket fuel gauge. my blazers not worth putting **** loads of time and money. just get me through this winter. tha rip. with over 350k rod knock. i just want it fixed kinda 4wd i dont mind id like everything back but really just fuel gauge. so please help...
