I recently had a "new-to-me" engine installed in my 1999 Blazer. The engine is out of a 2003. About 2 days after the engine was installed my overhead console completely stopped working. Screen went blank..I get nothing at all from it. I did have to change the fuel pump about a month after getting the new engine installed. The Fuel Pump relay completely quit working- the relay position didn't work no matter what I did...I changed the relays 4 or 5 times...with no success. I ended up running a 30 amp fuse from my Fuse Box in order to provide power to get the Fuel pump running. The truck runs great but I obviously have an issue when the relay position itself isn't working. I chased all the wires and couldn't find any issues. I'm not sure if the newer engine is the reason...or what. BUT- what's important to me is getting the Overhead console back to operating properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
