Default Passlock

I replaced ignition switch with toggle and push button start. I did the 30 passlock relearn at that time and blazer has ran fine ever since. Had an issue and replaced ecm. Instructions that came with ecm say to do passlock relearn. After the ten minutes the security light never goes off. Stays on solid entire time. My question is since I did the relearn before will I have to do again or is it forever

Could you post the steps you did to replace the ignition with the toggle and push button start. I'm having the famous passlock no start issues and the relearn worked for a short time but it's dead in the water now. I have read that you can buy a resistor and hack into the wiring and hook the cut yellow to the black/orange but not sure if that will work. Thanks in advance for any info.

i took my steering colum apart and cut the yellow wire.the skinny yellow wire, the big fat yellow wire you cut that you get a face full of air bag. you can watch videos on you tube on how to do it but you are right you cut the yellow wire and tape off the part that runs down the colum and splice in the part that goes to the switch with i believe the orange wire. when done you have to do a key relearn also on you tube.your security light will always be on but black tape fixes that, lol.
