Cool Positive Batter Cable Replacement

I have a 92 Blazer s-10. The positive batter cable has 3 wires - 1 to starter, 1 to alternator and a 3rd that has some type of bus link that runs into a wiring harness and I don't know where it goes from there. I need to replace the cable. Where would I find the right one? OR can i replace the old one with a cable that eliminates that third wire?

The proper cable for your application should be able to be purchased from just about any autoparts retailer and will have connections for all three of the wires you mention.

The wire that disappears into the harness runs up to the power distribution block on the firewall. This block is also powered via a wire from the starter main post, but both should be connected.

Default Positive Battery Cable

Thank you for the response. I was able to pick up a cable from the dealer which was actually more reasonably priced than I expected. Did not follow that third cable very far as it still seems to be in good shape but is certainly helpful to know where it goes.
