Possessed Blazer!
99 4x4x4
So I noticed the other night that my right turn signal indicator is turning on by itself. At first I though the dash lights around it were giving the appearance that it was light, but the further I drove the more I noticed that was was slowly getting brighter, very dim but getting slowly less dim. It would come and go and at one point it got so bright I swear I heard the "click" of the flasher like it had fully come on.
It has been a few days since this started and it seems to be coming and going. I've been trying to figure out what it is. I put LED front turn signals in about 2 months ago and I pulled them and checked all the connections and they seem solid. I upgraded the flasher to a low voltage "LED Flasher" so negate the super fast blinking that occurs when up put LED's in. I checked the tail lights and they are sealed and all the bulbs are good. The signal lever itself seems to be in working order but I guess with out taking it apart I can't be sure.
On a side note the gauge cluster that is in the truck is not original. About 2 years ago the original fried. It started out with a random dash light lit up here and there and if I gently tapped on the cluster it would right itself. Then one day the whole thing lit up like a Christmas tree and the odometer reset to 0. The one in it is used and has about K more than the original. I'm starting to think my Blazer has a hunger for gauge clusters
Sorry for the rambling. Thanks in advance for info/advice
*Update*
It seems the problem only occurs when the parking lights are on. I guess ill have to recheck everything again for a possible faulty/loose connection.

Found the problem. Bad bulb, go figure. Turn signal bulb in passenger side headlight was bad. Would be on and working and would just quit occasionally or go in and out. Now its fully burnt out and the light is on all the time. Gotta stop and get a new bulb today... or maybe ill get some led bulbs from superbrightleds.com
