Power Lock Issues
Been a minute since I've posted a problem on here. Usually find my issues while searching and get them fixed with the help of previous threads.
This one is eerily similar to my current problem;

So my locks stopped working. Fuses are good. Tried swapping, no change.
Pulled the #7 fuse (5A MIR/LKS) out, left the #14 fuse (15a PWR LKS) in, and my fob works.
With both in, nothing. I can slightly hear the actuators making a noise, but very faint. Clicking behind the dash near fuse box. My fob will turn the overhead light on, but not lock or unlock, and will not honk with two presses of the lock button.
Unplugged the lock switches, no change.
We did get a nice rain storm yesterday, and my hatch was open. (I had the smoker out before the rain, cooking a pork loin. Hatch was open as I was grabbing stuff out of the back, and keeping me dry.
)
I will swap out my lock switches, see if that makes a difference.
I'll also probe the orange wire that comes from the switches to the fuse box....wonder if that finally broke inside the door jam rubber boot.
Last thought, maybe the liftgate actuator..?
Not entirely sure. Been researching at work instead of actually working.
So any input/past experiences would be appreciated.

Well, on a hunch, I think I got it. And all before I even left work. It's like I was paid to figure it out!
I sprayed a bunch of lubricant into the lock and let it sit for a few minutes. Popped the fuse in, and everything was back to normal.
I popped the rear glass, removed the trim screw, and sprayed a bunch more lube into the mechanics of the lock. So far, so good.
I'll be removing the rear trim this weekend and seeing what we have behind there.
I'll keep this post updated.

Awesome! Always good figuring stuff out at work lol... I had to spray my parents rear wi dow latch like no tomorrow. It was so gummed up that the latch would not lock shut, then minutes of fingering the mechanism and shes as free as a bird now. That was the whole reason why I got the truck for 400$ in the first place lmao
