Default Power seat has no power.

I have power coming out of my harness, but not going into the switch. It wouldn't be a big problem, except the seat was reclined past my memory position when it quit. It had sporadically stopped for a few minutes at a time before it quit and hasn't worked in 3 days. Can anyone tell me if I can jump power to the switch to adjust it until I can find new seats?

i would think is like any other switch...you would have to find out what position/wire does what and wire in a switch of your own.

Yeah, I was hoping someone on here would know which wires are which. There are what, 6 or 8 switches in the switch box. I am fairly certain I can manage to figure it out. With the wealth of experience on this forum, I decided to see what I can find out, before using the educated guess method.

What I did was grab a battery and a length of wire and hit the motor itself with the hot wire. The motor for the recline is in back of the seat, just pull up the cover. Don't remeber what contact it was as far as up and down.

Well I had a brain fart when I checked my power leads for the harness. I forgot to check my grounds which is where my problem lies. Now the question is, where on earth do I find where it is supposed to be grounded?
