On my 95 blazer, the rear button was working fine, till the other day it wouldnt release, no click at all. the dash switched doesnt work either. ive checked all my fuses, changed everything in the hatch, and still no click.

If you've checked the fuses, are you getting power to the little actuator in the tailgate? You said you've replaced everything, so I'm guessing you replaced the actuator thing itself? If it's new, and you're getting power to it, it should work

The actuator has a little plastic arm on it, which is prone to breakage. Worth looking into.

i have a parts truck that robbed the actuator off of, i guess its possible that ones cooked too, and the little blue arm is still good

does your prndl indicator work on your dash? if not it could be your park/neutral safety switch. The vehicle has to be in park for the latch to release

Do your power door locks and mirrors still work?

If your blue plaxtic pc breaks just drill a hole and put a couple zip ties in there. Worked great for me.
