Projector halo headlight housing question
I have a chance to buy these projector headlight housings for my 2000 chevy blazer. I really like them, however, I have no plans on trying to use HIDs. My question is, is there a way to use these housings while maintain stock type headlight bulbs?
If so, how would you get the halos to work properly? Wiring into DRLs? Thyank you very much.

yeah. the halos just tap into DRLs regardless of what lighting system you are using.
the only thing you may have to do is buy regular halogen bulbs that fit those projectors. H1's I believe. but don't quote me on it.

Thank. I really love the looks of the halo headlights, and would upgrade the bulb, but I hate HID's, so I want to say thanks for clarifying that for me. I'll get her to work. Just needed to know it was possible.

Yeah the projector housings that you can buy on eBay aren't actually projectors unless they come with HIDs. They just use the 9005 high beam bulb in the low beam spot with a cut-off plate so they don't blind people.
