I know there have been similar threads but I cant find any to solve my particular problem. I just swapped my engine from 02 blazer to 2000 that I picked up cheap. Someone took the radio out of the 2000 and cut the harness. I'm trying to swap the radio from the 02 but there are several differences in the wiring. I've tried to study the diagrams for both years to see what I could match up but the diagrams I've found are conflicting to what I'm looking at in my dash.
Examples of the mess I'm looking at I have 3 dark green wires in the dash and 2 on the radio. I have 3 grey wires on the radio and only 2 in the dash. There are 2 black wires on the radio and 1 in the dash. 3 dark blue wires on the radio 2 in the dash. None of the wires of matching color have any distinctive lines or markings like I've seen in the past. All input appreciated. I'm no electrician.
