Default Rear defroster

How can I repair the left side lead in my rear glass?
I soldered it twice but now I think the copper in that section has come completely off the glass so I have nothing to solder to anymore. I don't believe I was using strong enough solder to start with.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I forgot to add that I was soldering the Male terminal to the glass where the wire connects.

Could always grab a 'new' rear window from the man mall....I got one with an Envoy light/spoiler attached for 32 bucks.

Thanks,I thought about the same thing wondering if it was worth it versus the time spent hoping for a good solder job.
