Default Rear wiper motor inop

So my rear wiper motor hasn’t worked since I bought this Blazer. It’s a 2000 Blazer ZR2. I discovered I have power to this module but nothing coming out to the motor. To confirm the motor was functional, I connected battery power to the motor (red and blue wires) and it works like a champ. My issue? I can’t seem to find this module ANYWHERE! Any suggestions on repair, replacement? I REALLY don’t want a hot wired toggle switch on the dash.

hi I know you posted this a while back but my first question when you hot-wired the motor did it swipe 180 or about a hundred degrees only? when you when you say you can't find the module do you mean auto parts stores or do you mean where it goes on the truck?

I'm assuming the 100% or so that they normally do, as there is a limiter for them not to go too far( I believe). And I'm only assuming that he means parts stores.

When I applied power, the motor seemed to travel normally. I couldn’t find the module at any parts store, dealer, nor online. Buuuuuut... after this post, I reassembled everything so my Blazer wouldn’t be disassembled while I located another module and to my surprise, it started working as designed. I don’t know, I can’t explain it. It’s just did. I guess I knocked some cob webs loose or something.

You are correct. Normal travel when voltage applied and couldn’t locate part or acquire.

thanks Bub and Don. what I'm asking about mine is what I realized the other day. my travel Arc actually moves Toward door bottom. so after it's working a while it actually goes from half windshield to crashing into the catch. if I shut it off and let it Park itself it starts out with the original Arc again, stopping at 10 degrees before catch arm. weird huh?

Sounds like you might have a fault in the circuit board. That is weird. I've been thinking of taking mine out, but I use it once in a while to keep it working properly.
