Redlined blazer, now alts won't charge
Have a dual alternator setup in my blazer
Got it in last week, only wired up one and it turned on and charged fine at 14.7v or so
Got the 2nd one on today, wired up and went to start it....didn't realize at the time but the throttle linkage was stuck on something and it pretty much started full throttle.
Rev'd up to 6k for a second or so and I shut it down. Fixed linkage and started it back up, everything fine
But now the alternators are not charging, is there a fuse on the wire that goes to the plug on the alternator?....the exciter wire to turn the alternator on
