Default Replacing multifunction switch 2000 blazer

Hey everyone. I have a 2000 Chevy blazer LT 2wd 4dr. I'm trying to replace the multifunction switch. I've got everything loose except for the junction block where it plugs in. I have turned and turned the bolt that holds the junction block in, but it just won't come out. Is there something I'm missing, or another step I need to take first or something? I'm using a ratchet and socket and have turned it till my hand and wrist are wore out. I don't know what else to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please help.
