Reverse lights not working.

Question Reverse lights not working.

I checked my lights & fuses but they are all fine. I read in another thread that there is a contact in the shift linkage that can cause this problem. Does anyone have a picture of what I should be looking for??? And possibly how I get to it?

I think its that piece way in the back of the steering column on top right before it goes through the firewall. Kinda a pain to get at. But on older vehicles it just kinda snapped on
