No you don't have to change them at all. You just need to find the sockets to go with them. Here is a link to them. You will need the ones that look like this.

It's not that hard to reuse the original sockets but it takes a little while. I wouldn't recommend it for the small bulbs though, I don't really trust them the way I have them in there. I'm sure it could be done better but it's probably worth the extra cost to just replace them.
