After replacing my starter at 1st it would make grinding sound for a second or 2 and then start fawn then one night it just would it start after hooking it to cables I could get it to start and run but it sounded really badd and I had to hold all the way on the gas now after replacing the battery I can turn the key forward and it will turn over once or twice but then the starter will free spin and even after turning the key back the starter continues to free spin and till I disconnect the battery
