Default Starting problem and more.

2001 Chevy Blazer 2wd
Couple wierd things I can not figure out.
If I crank and crank it won't start but if I just do a real quick Flick of the keys after 2-3 times it fires right up. Plugs, wires, coil, rotor and cap all brand new. Didn't help.

Second thing and I don't think they are related. Sometimes (about 50% of the time) when I get to about 50mph it will jerk like the Trans is slipping when I lightly lift of the gas. Sometimes it won't do it until I hit 70-75 and once again let off lightly on the gas it jerks. If I pull over and shut it off, take the key out and open the door and then restart it and take off its fine and won't do it again on that trip. Really has me baffled. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
