Default sticky hatch and glass release button

So i've been searching posts on here for weeks now and can't fully narrow things down. Hoping yall can help me out.

2002 Xtreme Blazer

The glass release button on the outside just below the glass doesn't work. Press it, nothing. Rear wiper doesn't work, although it will squirt out washer fluid when I push the button. Checked the fuse and they are both good. If it's a bad wiper motor, then why would the release button not work? Maybe some wiring going to the fuse box?

Second, when I push the glass release button on the dash, it release, then locks back up. Either someone has to hold it when I hit the button, or I jam something in the glass so that when I hit the button the glass is wedged upward. I've tried white lithium grease and wd 40 on the moving parts but they only work for about 2 releases then same problem.

Any help?? I'm trying to sell this soon and this problem has been bugging for some time now.

Actually this WAS covered in the last month or so.
Check the glass latch to see if it is adjustable, if it is adjust so it fits tighter. Then when you press the dash release, the glass will pop slightly. That's how it works, by the pressure of the trim gasket
.
Second
Try turning key on then off leave key in ign, get out leaving door open and push the button under the glass.

Third
Push the hatch button on fob twice, quickly

If none of those work, then read this:

Awesome, thanks! I started reading that post you mentioned, but I already went through that problem last year and so I didn't go much further on it. I'll check more into it though.
