Default Switchbacks grounding out.

I bouta cheap pair of switchbacks off eBay, the passenger side worked great but the driver side would light up the amber full time. I wrote it off to being cheap eBay light. Bout some nice ones from DDM and same thing. dug in a little deeper and my driver side pigtail is getting an ever so slight draw on the signal portion of the pigtail. Ground issue possibly? Any suggestions as to where to loo first? I undid the electrical tape and plastic loom and nothing jumped out at me.

What else could cause it?
