Believe it comes up from underneath, behind the rear bumper.

Thanls for the reply DonL.
I had a look atvthat wiring under rear bumper.
That particular loom has extension to fit trailer plug and the number plate lighting.
I since found tail loght wiring loom.
It is hidden behind a vouple o plastic covers and runs up over rear door glass.
I had to remove a couple of the plastic covers and unplug rear interior light unplug rear glass defroster and rear brake light strip plugs to be able to bring loom out and into a space i can give it a good looking over.
i found an interesting man made nest with a ? Diode fitted between right rear live brake light wire and the black earth wire.
Has anyone encountered this before.
thanks

That looks like a resistor. Do you have LED tail light bulbs?

I'm planning on installing led. Gotta find the lines for my resistor.
