Default Turn signal blinks fast...sometimes

2001 LT 4x4 4 door.

Sometimes the turn signal clicks fast. I recall in years past that when a bulb burned out, this happened, but such is not the case here. At least not from what I can tell.

Flasher maybe? It happens in both positions, and I just checked to see if it happened with the hazards on and it didn't. So, single signal it happens, then stops if I turn the hazards on.

You could have a corroded connection in one of the bulb sockets causing an intermittent connection mimicking a bulb failure at times.
