When i bought my blazer the owner gave me the remote and he said he thought the battery was dead so i went out and bought a new batter and put it in and held the lock/unlock button for 7 secs and nothing happen.

does any one know how i can get the remote to work?

 

google "program keyless remote" and whatever year your blazer is. My 2000 was real simple, I held the unlock button down while turning the key on and off 3 times ( I think?) let go of the button and it cycled - then held the lock and unlock key on the remote till the locks cycled again. Done.
