Default Upgrade Headlights 96 blazer Sealed beam

Hello, Im looking to upgrade my headlights as they don't light up that good. I have seen the 4x6 universal H4 headlights, My question: Is there a plug and play kit for a 96 blazer without modifying the stock light harness? is there a bulb that i can just plug in into the stock harness. 3 pong contacts if im not mistaken.

the universal 4x6 conversion lights you're seeing use H4 or 9003 bulbs, which have the same exact plug on them as the sealed beam bulbs, so no need to change the wiring harness

although, it's always recommended to upgrade to a stand alone harness, especially if you go throwing in higher wattage bulbs, as the stock wiring is not going to provide enough juice for them. you'd be surprised at just how much more light output you can get just with a wiring harness upgrade so the bulbs get all the voltage they can

these have gotten a lot cheaper since the last time I did one lol

years ago these were so outrageously pricey that I made my own harness when I had my 91 Toyota Pickup and converted it to composite lights...

pretty simple install; power and ground hookup, then plug the male plug into one of the factory headlight sockets, and then run your new bulb plugs to the headlights. basically the same as an HID harness, just with H4/9003 plugs instead of 9006 plugs. also easy to make them run both low beams and high beams with the high beams on with a harness like this, all you need to do is add a diode in the harness

Be careful, my 95 had the H4666 sealed beams and the plugs on them didn't quite have the same design and weren't compatible with the H4 bulbs.

H4666 bulb should use the exact same plug as an H4 or 9003 bulb

I've seen them wired difference on the car before, but the plug itself should be physcially universal between them, unless someone screwed with it once before...
