To be honest, my buddy really got me going when we took a trip to Mexico and he did a short blast up to 100 mph, it seriously took less than .2 miles to do so.. and it was the first time I was thrown back in a seat... he is actually rather reserved and just tapped the 100 and then cooled off, and many times in our hometown has he hopped the back end and speedily got to the speed limit of 35/45 depending where you were at... that thing seriously slammed me back into my seat when he took off from a stop and hit 30 like "snaps fingers" that

Believe me i know the feeling. First time my brother took me for a drive when it was stock, the LS1 block not the LS2, he drifted it around a corner brought it back and got up to 45(the speed) and i was speechless... Now that he is putting out 550rwhp naturally aspirated, it hurts if he launches it off the line.. He has traction problems if he is full throttle all the way up to 4th haha.. Now thats interesting

Yea... I have been reading and if you cam em and do a full exhaust, you get good numbers, and also people complain that you cant full throttle it unless you are in 4th... which is pretty crazy, but seeing someone break their tires loose at 55... thats insane

well I have bad news about the APS they dont make it anymore. but im sure you could find a used kit. But theres no way a stock drivetrain is going to survive it long.

And idk about the fourth launch thing but if im running to redline through shifts Ill spin 1st and 2nd and then bark 3rd and my car is pretty dang close to stock.

If i could afford it right now, i'd put either a 4.8L or a 5.3L in the blazer with a 6spd and better rear gears
