Question 99 express

I know this isn't a Blazer, but my 99 express van has an oil leak and I know some of you have more experience. I washed down the rear of the engine because it looked pretty slimey by the oil pressure transducer and distributor. I had changed the oil on this van 1000 miles ago and when I pulled my boat this week I noticed a drip when fueling. It was down over a quart. I just wanted to ask here before throwing to much money at it.

5.7L v8, looked like it was on the top rear of the engine, washed it down, warmed it up, and ran it to 50psi. now it's dry. will check again in A.M.

thanks for the response

So I washed the engine down and drove it around for a hundred miles and it's as dry as a bone. Would trailering my boat have anything to do with it? It's been fine for years.
It has an oil pressure gauge, so it has a transducer rather than a switch, which is what I thought would be leaking.

Add dye, drive it, and check with a UV light.

Handy trick we used in the shop
