Default Accidents suck!

Driving home from work tonight and I'm sitting in a left turn lane waiting to turn look to my right look back left and bam! A women came across the double yellow after being startled by a car pulling out of a drive on the right and ran into my front end! No serious injuries luckily so that's the important part but the Murano had a some pretty good damage. The worst part of the whole thing is that the cop said I was at fault because I didn't say that she crossed the line and hit me just that I was sitting there and she hit me WTF!! She knew it was Bulls*** tho cause she didn't write me a ticket even tho "i could have if I wanted to". She then admitted that she was in a bad mood and didn't want to be outside in the cold anymore and to take it up with my insurance. I appreciate all that our law enforcement does for us but this women was ridiculous! You could even see where the women's washer fluids tank exploded on my side of the yellow line! I have lots of pics and the other women who barely speaks fricken English took none and originally stated that she didn't know what happened but then after her second try with their officer somehow it turned into I hit her!! Oh well I'm just happy there were no serious injuries.

Sorry to read about this. It's not unusual for police to not issue a citation after an accident since they did not witness what happened. Your insurance company will probably issue a repair order for your car and go after her insurance to reimburse them. Meantime, you will be out your collision deductible until when/if it gets settled.

that makes changing the driving light bulbs easier on a Murono LOL

Glad there were no injuries
Really pisses you off eh

Almost piled into the back of a car that was pretty much completely stopped on the highway last night but no brake lights
Guess he was just crawling
Tow truck was loading up a break down on the opposite side of the divided highway
Fortunately there was a paved right shoulder because thats what saved me from a collision
Pretty sure I would have been a Ford Focus sandwich had I not got out of the guy behind me's way also
After the initial freak out from the wife I got a "really great defensive driving "

Some of the best YouTube videos are Russian dash cams. Bloshdinsk orshk. Or what ever they say before the the bobtail looses an axle and hits the train with the engineer flung thru the window holding the baby.
