For those of us running a Google/Android system cell... what apps are you running & why?
I love the flashlight apps because they're sofaking bright & readily available.
Torque for the ELM
GasBuddy
Maps etc
Pintail to see where my cell is or a friend to see where I am. I'd Love to get a GPS enabled cell, hide it in my blazer & have it hooked up to a 12v/usb power source so it was fed all the time (if someone stole my ride)
What are you running?
The free radio communication apps are cool like HeyTell etc... like a 2 way radio & doesn't cost anything. Voice chat between 2 or more people & no typing.

I have an Android Powered Tablet, so I can't use many phone apps, but I do use Torque Pro a bunch to help learn and diagnose. I also have a few apps on there I use for school, like Wolfram Alpha to help check Calculus and Physics stuff. I do love the flashlight app I have too.

Where - Good for finding food, attractions, nightlife, whatever you want around you. You can even look up menus and see what a place around you has to eat. Very cool app, and it is free.
Dropbox - App that syncs files from your computer to your phone and vice versa. Great for taking a photo with your android and it automatically being uploaded to your computer. Very handy and free.
GasBuddy - You already know what is does.
Google Maps - You already know...
Facebook...
Craigslist...
Catch - Basically a note keeper app. Pretty useful
JEFIT - Keep track of working out
SpeedView - app to see how fast you are going. Can record 0-60 time via GPS, etc...
Astro - File organizer/Manager
MotorTrend - Self explanatory
Shazam - If you hear a song on the radio, pull this app out and it will identify it for you
Poweramp - Best music player out there hands down!
Camera360 - Very good camera to use. A lot better than stock!
Blast Monkeys - Fun game
100 Floors - Fun game

WHATSAPP - fast text program, uses wifi when it can so it doesnt use my data plan. Good if you exchange funny pics with buddies. also knows which friends have it already so you dont have to add them manually.

Craigslist
MLB Atbat
CBS STL (So I can listen to St. Blues games)

The new Ice Cream Sandwich OS has issues! Mine freezes up once in a while, freezes even the basic phone operation. HeyTell gets mucked up a bit too. I also don't like that even if an app says "later than 2.1 OS" wtc, some do not work with ICS. It's version 4.0.4 so I'm expecting another firmware update soon. Like Windows has a million updates - a friend reloaded his laptop last night. OMFG he says they want 104 updates on the fresh install!!! lol
Quik Office is good & SwiftKey 3. A friend sent me a keyboard app he has on his Samsung Galaxy but it doesn't work on the new ICS OS.
Fast Burst Camera is cool & Fast Reboot Pro reboots the cell/most apps etc in 5 seconds!
