Default Any big MMA fans here?

Been fans for years now, did a bit of Boxing and Muay Thai. Had some good sparring sessions and some bad. All in good fun though.

Looking forward to the WEC now merging with the UFC. Featherweights are going to really tear it up. Can't wait. Last PPV under WEC name airs tonight I do believe.

The only thing I'm really starting to hate about the UFC is the audience it's getting. Drunk fools and people thinking they're MMA fighters. Being in the security field I see it all the time. Morons who are loaded drunk and don't have a clue.

one of my friends' dads owns an mma gym here in toledo, every three or four months he organizes a big fight and he usually pays all the friends to do jobs around there like watch doors and stuff, so when im there i watch the fight, but other than that not so much, lol

HUGE MMA fan. One fighter is coming back home during the holidays & hopefully he & I will hook up at Blondies, an awsome burger joint that can make (deposit required) a 9lb burger!

Thumbs up

Yeah, I'm a fan. i got into it through my job. Learned a bit of MACP (muay thai, kempo, boxing, BJJ, wrestling) and played with it for a while.

Same same on the sparring. Every fight is a good fight, even if you get pwned for reels imo.
Feels better to win though

I have met a couple of these cats when they did the "Fight for the Troops" 2 years ago or so. Shared these pics before but not with you so here you go...
The Iceman

Captain America

The Pitbull

Chris "Lights Out" Lytle

Kind of ironic that its so dark huh?

Also here's a shot of my wrecked grille after fighting a 'King of the Cage' style fight in Iraq (lost the middle weight championship costing my my teeth AND a $13 gold belt

again sorry to everyone that has seen these before...

So yeah, kind of a fan

Thanks. Good to be back. Wish I had more to report since I've been M.I.A, but back is back
