Default Anybody used the chassis ear?

Just seen the chassis ears online. Looks pretty damn cool. There are 2 versions, wireless and wired. If i were to buy one of the two i'd picked the wired set(less static feedback). But they say you can test drive with them equipped to the vehicle regardless of wires or not. Im curious on how you can test drive with the wired ears(even wireless ears) although it prob works but im a bit skeptical about it. I just wanted to see if anyone has ever used this item and how they liked it. Thanks.

I used to work with a tech who had a wired camera and monitor that recorded. Slick tool! You could watch the parts move and mount it anywhere metal with the strong electromagnet. Have no idea what brand it was though.

How much are they wanting for it?

I have used the older style wired ones at work. You need to have someone drive while you flip switches and listen to the different probes. I don't know the brand, they were supplied by GM.

They're around 120 for the wired ones and 200 for the wireless.

/\ the wired ones. These ones I was looking at are made by steelman.
DK you have actually listened to the noises while another was driving? You joust route the wires into the car from underneath? Dumb question but thats the only thing that would worry me is a wire getting caught popping the clamp off and dragging it behind the car haha. Still pretty cool.

Yup, I have been the driver and the listener. We have to flip different switches to listen to the different leads.
