Default Anybody used these bulbs?

Has anyone used Philips Nightguide bulbs in their blazer? The bulbs sound pretty cool. They project a yellowish color to the left so that it can be bright without blinding other drivers, bright white in the center so that you can see in front of you, and bluish white to the right, which supposedly lights up signs better. I do a lot of night time driving on the highway and this sounded like something that I might want.
My only concern was that since my 98 blazer's headlights have ridges in them, it might not work as intended. I'm worried that the ridges will send those colors to the wrong places. Has anyone used these bulbs in their blazer? Or another car with similar headlight lenses?

Get some HIDs man. Those philip bulbs are probably 50 a pair, and an HID kit can be had for under 200... Go with 4-6000k and you will love it.

HIDs would be nice, but thats way more money than I want to spend on my daily driver. I work at an auto parts store and we have the philips bulbs so I get them for a really low price. I just want to know if anybody has used the nightguide bulbs

I tried the Sylvania Silverstars on my old Aztek, and the ones in the foglights kept blowing and the ones in the high and lows blew occasionaly, at least they were free to change for a new one at partsource for up to a year. I had changed each side about 20 times since owning the truck. So if they are like the silverstars, then done bother.

I honestly don't think HIDs would look right on my blazer. I think HIDs look nice in newer cars, or, if done correctly, older cars. But my blazer is just a stock 4x4. I just want to know if anyone has any experience with these philips bulbs in these type of headlight lenses
