Anyone bank with BOA?
#11
I have a BOA card I got from my Temp Agency (back when I was a tem for 3 months and got hired on) but that's all I've ever had from them. Hopefully they don't start charging that because I'll forget about it and wonder why I owe them money!
I've never seen a Security Nat'l, But I also have no idea where Xenia is lol

Don't worry if they start charging you you won't "owe" them anything they will be taking it from your account to ensure they get their money! I was mistaken on their terms earlier sorry but here's a pic of the letter they sent me

Well just stopped at BOA with the intent of just closing my checking account with them and ended up closing the checking and savings accounts! I asked if they intended on charging me for the savings account as well and she said yes!! Since I will no longer have "Keep the Change" from my checking the savings is now subject to the same $12 a month fee WTF!! So I made it easy and said cool give me all my money and I'll take it elsewhere that won't charge me
So I am officially no longer a Bank Of America customer.
The funny thing is that the guy in the cubicle next to me had the same letter sitting on the desk and he was there for the same reason to close his accounts. Its sad really that such a large bank is trying to charge its customers for something that most smaller banks aren't.

I closed all of my B of A accounts a couple years ago. I had personal and business checking and savings accounts with B of A. I switched over to Boeing Employees' Credit Union. Everything is free and with shared branching I have access to ATMs and services at many more locations of various CUs than I ever did at B of A. There was no day quite as sweet as walking into my local B of A branch and telling them that I was closing out four accounts. Now I earn really good interest on my money and pay no fees. The only reserve amount I have to keep in the account is $5 in savings which is no problem.
I highly recommend credit unions.

ive wanted to do credit unions, problem is everyone of em here wants like a chunk of change to borrow in the savings account. I dont have that to swing around right now. Or do i like letting people borrow that kind of money i cant get back unless i close the account.
