Well, recently there has been some talk, I can graduate next semester and find a job, or there is a possibility that I can go to grad school and finish my masters in one year extra.... The only thing is I am not sure about the cost and aid and everything yet....

I was just wondering if anyone here went to Grad. School.... and if it was career choice worthwhile.... ( i think I know the major answer already lol)

 

IF you can finish in a year, do it. My supervisor at my current job makes twice as much as I do hourly for half the work.

 

I have a master's degree in mechanical engineering. As Gary said, if you can get it done in a year, do it! I can't say that my degree has really helped me position wise, but I really enjoyed the classes I took and use quite a bit of the knowledge gained in my daily activities.

 

Thats the thing, I would love to continue my education, but the classes offered here aren't always offered every semester, I have enjoyed the water design classes, but the go to Prof. is going to be retiring (maybe, he has said that for the last 4 years) and there are only three concentrations to choose from, Geotechnical, Structural (hells no, so tedious and more based on theory than practice), and construction management.....

But then again, if I heard correctly it was full tuition paid plus a stipend.... But, idk if I will be so lucky....
