Going on vacation pretty soon, was wondering what there is to do around Asheville, any must see spots, things to check out?

 

How soon..? I'm in Trinity right down the road until Saturday.. I'm lookin for some trails or something haha

 

The first weekend in May,
I wanted to go this coming weekend, but the wife has to work.

You boys need to remember that's the area where they filmed Deliverance. If you hear banjo pickin'...RUN.

 

Nothin' yet.. been drivin around looking along tree lines and in fields though haha. My buddies son is gonna ask around to see if there are any places.

 

Asheville has some great nitelife, good bars, resturants and music happening often.
Great mountain biking if your into that kind of thing, Pisigh, is right there, Tsali about 30/40 miles away. Biltmore Estate is something to be seen, this place is/was amazing for the time it was built.
Gambling at Cherokee Nation.
NOC, Nantahala Gorge, about 40 miles away for hiking, biking, kayaking, river rafting, horse back riding, camping, the list just goes on and on for an outdoor kind of person.
