I have a 97 blazer. What is the box (about the size of a motorcycle battery) on the rear, driver side quarter panel? It has fuel lines and wire connecting it to the fuel pump. The vent hose from the fuel pump leads to it. Cannot find reference to it in HAYNES....believe it or not. Would appreciate and help you can lend

Thanks for the reply. Anybody know anything about the EVAP canister? It has wire running from the canister to a module mounted on the frame. I broke the hardline running from the pump to the canister (rust). Can I replace hardlines with flexible lines for the fuel?
