Default Blazer Sale Fail - IDEA!

So basically I have been periodically bumping my for sale thread, and getting no interest locally and with the craigslist, so I am thinking that I might just have to keep it, but the thing is that today the hood release started acting up and making me quite angry, but then again it was probably because of lack of attention.

Now, I had this crazy idea, and will be doing a little research tonight, but as of now sitting at my father's home there is my 1998 blazer, and his 77 camaro.

Now the camaro has been sitting for about 20-ish years and is an inline 6-3 spd. I was thinking about donating the blazer frame and drivetrain (4x4, I know lol) to the camaro to get it back on the road.....

So far before any official research there are two things in my way.

Time and Money, I know it would probably take a decent amount of man hours (more since I am not regularly in a garage wrenching) and some $$$$ to make it fit and work....

Any thoughts?

As long as you don't mind drawing the ire of the Camaro enthusiast community, I say go for it.

I'm not a Camaro Enthusiast, but I love anything anything with a Camaro logo on it so you have my Ire...

Why not donate your 4.3 with 4l60e to the Camaro and pick up a 350 for the Blazer

Well the camaro is pretty rough, and as of right now I am not sure how much is salavagable, I do know that the driver's side floor board is shot, and I haven't looked at the frame at all, but definitely an idea, although what modifications would need to be done if NOT including the transfer case?

I think the camaro body on the blazers frame and powertrain would be awesome. And would make for a heck of a cool build thread too. Theres a big ole lincoln towncar on a 4x4 frame that I see in my town occasionaly and always love.
