Can't tell you how happy I am with my 97 Blazer 4x4-G80 with four studded snow tires. Tow hooks on front and a good hitch on the rear make easy hook-up for my 16ft yellow strap. We've pulled so many cars and trucks out that I've lost track! I took picture only of the one Jeep I pulled out and posted it earlier.

Also, saw a car stuck on the side and stopped, but a young guy in a CJ pulled up first and got out with a big chain. I said fine and helped him hook it up. He had no locker and no studded tires, so he spin two tires and went no-where. I was polite and let him try 3 times, but we had traffic stopped so I said OK, let me try. He moved out of the way and I pulled the guy real easy with one slow try.

Studded snow tires are the next best things to chains, and they never wrap around your axle.

Finally got around to posting my pics up. My buddy that has a XJ went out with me tuesday night (the worst night of it all up here in chicago). Got a few good shots and videos. We had a few times were we were driving through snow drifts that were coming up and over our hoods.

We got snowed in the next morning, had a solid 20" of snow plus 40" snow drifts on most of the major roads.

Nice pics guys. All we got in central Indiana was a lot of ice. Wish I could have got a pic of my blazer as a block of ice. But alas camera packed away for the move and phone being dumb. Didnt have time.

It was bad enough my tires where solid blocks of ice and frozen to the ground. I still have over an inch of ice onmy roof though. man i love this vehicle. I had no issues driving. Didnt get to play much. Maybe after this next one coming in.

I wish I could experience snow like that! The nearest we get is what's on Christmas cards! LOL Still havn't figured out why nobody has come up with surf & sun cards after all Santa travels the world & when down our way can only ski on the waves
