Oh, and forgot to mention, I used to own an '81 X-11 (first year of the high horsepower racing car) and even with a severely de-tuned suspension & cracked rad. core support, that car would still take 90 degree corners @ 65mph!! In race trim it would do the same @ 85-90mph. Zero to 60 was one second faster than a porche 925 s turbo.
To anyone who these cars are just dinosaurs, wrong. Even the base cars can and are being upgraded and are the grand father of todays "tuner" cars. A friend of my is building a twin engine LS4 monster and will have a projected 1,100hp!!! Sideways engines have come a long way.
