Heres a little video I took today for you all to see what we get to deal with. Maybe you have seen snow like this, but I bet more poeple have not. Its a really nice day today, its only -6... We have been about -30 or colder for weeks now, blowing snowstorms, its been really icy. This is a daytime look at my neighborhood and all the snow. out front of my house is what would have been a large windrow, but the city doesnt do anything but run a plow once down the street making a small windrow blocking in all the fwd cars... My friend has gotten his jeep stuck out there a few times now. I cant get in the garage if I dont shovel the driveway and a little in the alleyway.

After our record setting snowfall. No problem seeing the driveway, the snow is piled 3 feet high on the sides.

And the attached picture is a sad attempt at going through a snowbank.

Now this picture is hard to make out because it was dark when i took the pic, but the 2 white things on either side are snow banks.. HUGE.. (this is in a mountain pass btw)

I'll try to post a pic of my back yard tomorrow there is about 5 feet of snow in it. It has been snowing here like crazy last few days we have more snow than grande prairie does. Snowing again right now.

Canadian winter huh, even a little snow ontop of the hard packed snow/ice can be a
biotch. See my posting from this morning at work.
