Minor damage no big wreck haha

 

thanks man, she had all kinds of electrical issues when i owned it and the back axle was bent somehow. shes no longer mine but i totaled her.

 

sometimes its better off cars like that get totaled, less headaches in the long run, especially electrical ones

Carfax is not always perfect... my blazer was carfax perfect, but had big chucks of hood bondo and jerry rigged radiator.... until I hit a deer and made it right... lol

 

I have a minor, but good update. I called the garage owner later in the day. I told him I was gonna be passing by the garage again today on my way to the office and I was wondering if I should bring my stack of cash along with me. He says he'll call me back. A short while later and says he has talked to the auction guy, and his lawyer. He also tells me the Benz owner has come by claiming that he will be getting the money to pay off the bill. He let him take his plates off it (he has to by law). He says the guy is never gonna get the money, and that his lawyer said not to do anything till he has all the papers in hand. He figures Thursday or Friday, and the car is mine! I am trying not to get to excited cause if I do, the owner will come along with the money. I am just gonna hope lady luck is with me and ride out the next couple days till I hear something.

Thanks for the support guys. I couldn't help myself from stopping into the garage today to see that it was still there, and it was... whew! I am hoping to hear that the garage got the papers tomorrow for it. If so, I will be the proud new owner of a new-to-me Benz!
