Default carp bait

Anyone got some good tips for catching carp? I usually just use corn but really can't seem to get anything bigger then 10 and a few 15 lbers. Looking for that elusive 30lber!

Plastic ziplock add wheaties crush wheaties, add beer form some dough. Form wheaties doughball around hook, size the doughball for the fish.

I've never intentionally caught carp (wtf for?), but I've had them bite on anything I have been using for other fish. Even hooked a big one by the eye socket once on a crappie rig as it was swimming by.

The beer/wheates sounds easy enough does it actually turn into dough?

I love catching carp. Easy to catch and are great fighters. I usually have a second pole out for catfish. I don't eat the carp. Just for fun

Yes it forms a very good dough, just size it up load your hook and cast it out. Large Carp + Zebco 33 = good times.
