when buying a house do you pick the house or does the house pick you so to speak. long story short have you when looking at a house just felt like this is right and simple as that rather then I could make this work? I all but had gave up and for s**ts and grins hopped on CL and found one that seemed "too good to be true" but replied and spent almost 2 hrs this am looking it over and just talking to the owner and it just felt right you know. I don't know how else to explain it, it felt like it was calling my name. It fit my requirements and then some the setup is perfect for me and the weather and I could hide all the cars there with ease. Not that I am planning this way anytime soon the elem school is a block away. also this has more sq ft then the last place and if you rip up the carpet in the "dining room it would be hard wood and match my table. personal thoughts and experiences welcome

absolutely!
when we bought this place July of '08, it was just what we wanted/needed (well almost, i always need more garage space for the rides).
we even luv'd the lady's decorating-half the reason we bought it, so we wouldn't spend all this time/$ on redecorating. just painted the bedrooms, but the rest of it is as we bought it. it just suits our antiques perfectly.
