The Boy Scouts orienteer? *tips hat to the scouts*

@oisinirish: oddly enough one of my goals is to head like 2 hours south and canoe camp up the Willamette River one of these summers... (gotta loose the kids for 3 days though )
As for the adventure you mentioned (and linked) i'm down for all of that minus the

as to the OP: i'd be down for geochaching if i could do it with more intereting company than what is presently available to me ... could be a hoot

Ha. BSA's where I learned first as well.

And the only time I was in Ely, Mn. when it was cold I had to shovel the snow off the roof of my great aunt's garage! Best to go in July or August. The water is still tooth cracking cold though.

Thanks.

That Canoeing trip sounds awesome. I want to do something like that, but I'm not sure where...

Most of those are on the American side of the BWAC. But I have been into the Canadian Wilderness through the Quetico national park with aspirations of Atikokan, maybe next time.
