Dodge Fails Again

Yeah man, your friend risked it. Not Dodge's fault.
I don't get the Dodge bashing. My dad bought an 86 Ram with a 6cyl back in 96. Tough truck that was as reliable as possible. Not one problem with it the entire time he had it. Sold it in 01 to buy a brand new Ram, V8. Loved it, but two years later needed 4x4 for out boat. When he traded that in, he got a 2004 Ram 2500. Almost 80k miles, only thing thats gone out was the wiper fluid pump. Good truck. Overall, with ANY brand, if you treat a car well, it'll return the favor. Beat on it- it'll beat on your wallet.

yeah, you do.
like what have you got done to the SRT4 that you feel driving a Blazer is better on your wallet?
not bashin' on either of your rides, but unles you dumped a 440 in your SRT, it's gotta get better fuel mileage compared to the Blazer.

We're talking about Dodge trucks though, not their cars. Their cars are better off in a dumpster. The SRT4 was garbage...as were the neon's. Nothing but constant problems with them.
Their trucks are a different story. I'm like Phil..I don't get why anyone would bash a dodge truck. They are a hell of a truck and can take a serious beating. It's not the trucks fault the OP's friend was an idiot and chose to ruin his truck lol.

My dads 2003 hasn't broke down once since he's owned it. The only problem with it was a rough idle on really cold day. It hasn't be hard on brakes or transmission so it's been a good truck all around.
His neon on the other hand is a lost cause in my eyes.
