I got mine with the intention of making it a very capable "DD/Toy". So far it has worked out well for both.

i bought my '98 because i needed another truck that i could drive year round, since my 'Burb has never seen Winter.

while it will always be a DD & never a "toy", it'll get a few "extras" that'll make it a more enjoyable daily.

now......if i ever come across another 1st gen like my '92 Jimmy...................that'll definately be a toy!

Yeah, mine is kinda slowly turning into a project car and I hope to get another car as a daily driver sometime.

Bought my Blazer as a DD and toy. took the wife 4 wheeling and she told me I had to get a different truck to play in. I bought 3 more.
Still have the original, however the other 3 have all been sold.

Wife told me my next truck is a fullsize crew cab, which is great. It'll tow my Blazer on atrailer nicely.

Here we go again, I just installed a 2 inch suspension lift and now im ordering a 2 inch body lift for my 4 door. Still having a hard time finding a cast iron front differential for it otherwise it would have been done. I was hoping to get the front diff and locker done before the summers over, but I dont see that happening, so im lifting it first.

It doesnt matter what i own Im always making it bigger better and faster. I had an 87 s10 blazer and the rocker panels were rotted off, I still made it my everyday driver and weekend warrior. I ultimately welded new rocker panels on it and had my buddy do the body work and paint.

I bought mine originally for my dd. Since then it is slowly turning into a toy but it is also still my DD. I just bought a 98 blazer for my winter beater and im thinking about keeping it after winter as my DD and having the 99 as the toy
