I try parking in places where my truck is highly visable to passers by. I enjoy watching people take a second look as they walk past. Usually, if I'm around I get a "nice car" comment.

There are similar "compact car/fuel efficient" spots at a popular restaurant (McAlisters Deli) nearby. They've even painted narrow lines to deter large vehicles from parking there but I routinely see large trucks or vans taking up two spots

At my old job, a coworker and I shared a three spot section towards the back of the lot. There were curbs on three sides of the spots so it was great for ensuring that no other cars parked near us.

Check out this awesome site: Parking By Design

Also, unless one is pregnant or is helping a pregnant woman, parking in an expectant-mothers spot is kind of a douchey(sp?) move IMO...

I like the one closest to my apartment but lately there has been a neighbor parking there in his "blazer xtreme" and he will come out at one a.m. To smoke and he turns it on for heat and his belt squeaks the hole damn time!

show him the magic that is a cheap bar of ivory soap... goodbye mr. squeaky. it's not your gear so you dont have to worry about the fact that this is just a bandaid to hide the sound, not a fix

too bad i'm only able to find it a few months of the year. (also sucks that my rear tires were bald. couldn't get any farther up)

luv your tag line Gary. wish we had some of those up here. i'd luv to park my 'Burb in one.

and those that know me, would know i'd luv to *ahem* "discuss" the merits of driving a diesel/SVO full size truck.
